Oppose Anti-Innovation Legislation That Would Hurt American Technology and Empower China
While many Americans are concerned about the well-being of America’s national security, small businesses, and ability to innovate, Washington is considering anti-innovation legislation that would undermine the future of our domestic technology sector and cede our nation’s edge to foreign adversaries.
Congress needs to consider the unintended consequences of misguided anti-innovation legislation, including how it could:
- Destroy American jobs
- Weaken our national security
- Empower China
China is already dangerously close to surpassing the United States in the key strategic technologies of the future, like artificial intelligence (AI), quantum, 5/6G, extended reality, etc. China’s innovation gains present both national security and economic threats to the United States, as technology power increasingly translates to geopolitical power.
By signing this petition, I’m voicing my opposition to anti-innovation that would do nothing to help America’s economy and small businesses; instead, it would result in America falling behind to China.
It’s Time to Protect Our Country!
Tell lawmakers to focus on the issues that Americans really care about, including fighting inflation, strengthening the economy and creating good-paying jobs – not legislation that would weaken America’s tech companies.
