Spotlights the Crucial Role of American Technology for Small Businesses

WASHINGTON, DC — The American Edge Project, a coalition of two dozen domestic organizations, today launched “Taylor“, a new ad highlighting the critical role of American technology in empowering small businesses.

Featuring Taylor Cassat, a Navy veteran who co-founded SABO Outdoors alongside fellow special operations veterans, the ad showcases how their business harnesses technology to connect people with outdoor activities. It highlights the threat posed by policies aimed at restricting technological growth, emphasizing the potential benefits to foreign competitors and the risks to national security and job creation.

“Taylor’s story underscores how American innovation supports veteran entrepreneurship and small businesses across the country,” said Doug Kelly, CEO of the American Edge Project. “Misguided policies that undermine American technology and innovation would hurt these businesses and empower authoritarian regimes abroad. That is why our leaders must pursue smart policies that foster innovation and enable small businesses to thrive.”

“For nearly a decade, I served in the Navy supporting Seal teams.

“Today, I run SABO Outdoors with fellow special operations veterans. Our mobile app connects customers with hunting, fishing and other outdoor experiences.

“American technology has been essential to our growth, but some in Washington want to stifle the technology small businesses like ours depend on.

“This misguided agenda will empower foreign adversaries, threaten national security and destroy jobs.

“Our leaders need to strengthen, not weaken. American technology.”
