WASHINGTON, DC — The American Edge Project, a coalition of nearly two dozen domestic organizations, today launched a new ad, ‘Cutting Edge,’ spotlighting the essential role American innovation and artificial intelligence (AI) play in securing the country’s national and economic security.
The ad spot features a family-owned business that has worked with NASA and the U.S. military for decades, and is now using AI to enhance their capabilities and services. It highlights the importance of both open- and closed-source AI to America’s economic strength, technological leadership, and national security.
“For decades, American businesses have built the tools that power our military, space program, and economy,” said Doug Kelly, CEO of the American Edge Project. “Today, they’re harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to build and grow. If we want to stay ahead of China, we need policies that protect and promote American innovation.
