WASHINGTON, D.C. — The American Edge Project, a coalition of nearly two dozen domestic organizations, today launched a new ad, ‘Cane Brew,’ highlighting how artificial intelligence (AI) is strengthening American manufacturing.

In the ad, Cane Brew Sweet Tea in Mobile, Alabama, shares how it is using artificial intelligence (AI) to grow its business and hire more Americans. The spot highlights the real-world benefits of AI innovation and illustrates why China cannot dominate these technologies.

“AI is creating new opportunities for small businesses across the nation,” said Doug Kelly, CEO of the American Edge Project. “If we want to stay ahead of China, and secure the transformational benefits that AI can provide to society, we need policies that promote American innovation. We cannot allow misguided policies to undermine our progress and give our adversaries a leg up.”
